Fifty years ago, in a small mountain village, Leonardo bought a bakery where he began to produce bread, Tuscan schiacciata and biscuits. Three simple but very important rules made his work unique: use only genuine raw materials, propose traditional recipes and follow his own intuitions to make special the products of the his workshop! Among all the delights that Leonardo baked, it was one of his inventions that made people fall in love: the chocolate cantucci.
Today, after fifty years, his son Marco, with his oven in the center of Florence, still produces all these old, but also new, delights... from chocolate cantucci with orange peel to Brutti ma Buoni with pistachio, from traditional Mantovana to biscuits with figs.
Leonardo, with a lot of passion and culture of good doing, always tried to improve himself and, remembering some recipes of his mother and grandmother, began to produce Tuscan cantuccini, sprinkles and other specialties.
One day, intrigued by the idea of producing the first chocolate cantucci, he experimented many mixtures and, mistaking by chance a process, managed to create a unique and inimitable recipe with scents and aromas never heard of before:
These completely handmade products, simple but rich in Tuscan tradition and culture, were very successful and were produced for many years delighting the palates of many people!

Even today, at the age of ninety, Leonardo Santi teaches how to do the good things of the past. His son, Marco, with his ancient oven in Florence, respects the tradition and authenticity of the past, working by hand all the products with love and dedication. Today for Leonardo the dream of a lifetime becomes true: to bring his products in the heart of the most beautiful city in the world.
