The name of this wine comes from the presence in the vineyard and throughout the company of centuries-old cork trees that in the Mediterranean scrub certainly represent longevity. With their color, roughness and cracking of their bark give the idea of maturity and fullness. The same sensations that Pierini and Brugi want to give to their wine. Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes harvested by hand, alcoholic fermentation in small steel tanks for 20 days, then aging in French oak barrels for 12 months during which are carried out regular batonnage to enrich olfactory components and improve the structure of the wine. Before being marketed, the wine ages for another 6 months in the bottle.

Bright ruby color with garnet reflections. On the nose vanilla, tobacco and hints of ripe red berries in spirits. The palate is savory with excellent tannins.

It goes well with first meals of game, wild boar, grilled red meats and aged cheeses.
