Fraternal friendship
The idea of Avo was born also thanks to this extraordinary territory.
Our family discovered this area in the early eighties and it was love at first sight. From that moment on a kinship with the place and its people has lasted for more than 40 years, where we return every year to what we consider our second home.
Thanks to the fraternal friendship created with the local families, today we know every path, trail, cabin and gastronomic delicacy of the area. In the fridge at home there was always bacon, smoked sausages and goat cheese.
Century old traditions
We realized these places have so much emotion with their heart in hands which is a labour of love. Here they have been able to keep the traditions handed down from centuries and maintain their integrity without forgetting an affinity to the territory.
Local producers
For these many reasons we have decided, thanks to the collaboration with some of our producer friends, to share with you the artisan specialties of Marebbe.

Maso tlo Plazores
The Ties family has been running this farm since 1745 and in all these years have always cared for and loved their lands with unparalleled attention.
Today, Mrs Uli with her husband Roman and their children take care of the entire farm. Here many products are produced by hand, including their unrivalled bacon of thigh and shoulder, ox and pork sausage, the rack and bacon.
Maso Corcela
The Erlacher family and especially Roland (one of the first ski instructors) have been running this farm for several generations. Here are unique goat cheeses in their flavor but above all natural and authentic.
