Orio di Podere il Castellaccio is a Bolgheri red produced from international Cabernet Franc, Syrah and Merlot grapes that fully expresses its elegant and enveloping character. The grapes are vinified separately with fermentation in steel and then the wine ages in oak barrels of second or third passage for 12 months before being assembled and bottled, where it rests for another 6 months.

Ruby red color. The nose is a complex bouquet of red fruits, vanilla berries and oriental spices. The palate is fresh and enveloping with rich and deep aromas.

Accompanies well with roasts, stewed meats and medium-aged cheeses
